Amanda Nunes has retained her bantamweight championship but some fans were disappointed with how her most recent title-defence went down. 'The Lioness' tussled with Germaine de Randamie in the main card of UFC 245 for her fifth title-retention bid. Dubbed as the heavy favorite to win the fight, Nunes apparently showed some vulnerabilities as she went the distance with 'Iron Lady.' The title fight turned into a grappling vs striking fest as Nunes utilized her elite ground game, with her challenger struggling on her takedown offense. When the dust settled, Nunes had her hand raised, eking out a unanimous decision victory, for her 10th straight victory since 2014. But some MMA fans were not happy with the actions, or the lack of it, in this bantamweight title showdown. Even the crowd in Las Vegas gave Nunes a resounding 'boo' for not being able to finish GdR.
